The Medical Director of the imaging center is Randy Becker, M.D., a Board Certified Radiologist fellowship-trained in Neuroradiology, who has lived in Maryland since 1990. Dr. Becker has an interest in Gastrointestinal, Musculoskeletal and Neuroimaging.  He notes,“We follow the American College of Radiology’s goal to “image gently” seriously, as evidenced by protocols that are designed for minimizing radiation exposure. We provide accurate, complete, and timely diagnostic services, including most reports to referring physicians in 8 hours or less.  Our goal is to provide a compassionate and professional experience to all our patients.  I am available for any concerns or questions patients or referring physicians may have.”

Dr. Becker continues, “Our technology in the medical imaging center is first-rate. Our multi-slice CT scanner affords 3D volume rendering images coupled with the ability to reformat in 2D and 3D planes. And as the first to offer CT and MR Enterography in this area, we can provide the most advanced, non-invasive assessment available for disorders such as inflammatory bowel disease, infectious enteritis and lymphoma.” Head and neck CT Angiography is also offered for our patients, providing accurate noninvasive characterization of atherosclerotic vessel disease involving both cervical carotid and intracranial circulations. Advanced Radiology’s unique partnership with Baltimore Washington Medical Center likewise provides patients convenient continuity of care.
