Dr. Alexander H. MacArthur is a board-certified radiologist in diagnostic radiology with a special interest in musculoskeletal imaging. He completed a residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore with a mini-fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging, and his fellowship in MRI from the University of California- San Diego.
Dr. MacArthur has been with American Radiology services (now Advanced Radiology) since 2015. For him, his interest in radiology sprang from his background as an engineer.
“With radiology, you’re solving problems over and over again,” Dr. MacArthur says. “It’s interesting to look at a new problem every few minutes and come up with a solution.”
When not working, Dr. MacArthur spends time with his family (which includes three children) and plays basketball.
